Grinding is different from a light squeal

A harsh metal-on-metal sound is more concerning than a brief squeak after rain or overnight moisture.

Check for pedal and stopping changes

If the pedal feels different, stopping distance increases, the car pulls, or the steering wheel vibrates, describe those symptoms when you call.
